Soneium announced that it will use L2 sequencer revenue to repurchase ASTR Token.

According to Mars Finance, Startale Group announced that it will use the profits from the sequencer of the Ethereum L2 blockchain Soneium, jointly developed with Sony Group, to purchase ASTR tokens on the market, further promoting the integration of Soneium and the Astar ecosystem, as well as future asset mergers. It is reported that Soneium is an Ethereum L2 developed and operated by Sony Block Solution Labs (jointly owned by Sony headquarters and Startale) and led by Astar founder Sota Watanabe, whose sequencer is responsible for transaction ordering, packaging, and submission to Ethereum L1 while collecting transaction fees.
