Crypto Assets Expert: Token design should focus on long-term asset attributes
Gate.io News bot message, cryptocurrency analyst @sleepy0x13 expressed the view that there is a cognitive bias in the current market regarding token design. He emphasized that the essence of a token is sovereignty rather than a tool, representing the financial value of a company, content system, and cultural IP.
@sleepy0x13 pointed out: "Tokens are not tools, but sovereignty. Functionality can only create one-time incentives, while assets require long-term faith, and the two are inherently in conflict. What you are issuing is not a token for a specific product, but a financial representation of a company, a complete content system, and even a cultural IP."
He further elaborated that tokens, as trust assets that transcend time, are supported in value by actual value realization rather than short-term popularity.
