According to the Gate.io News bot, Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, has made a latest statement regarding the upcoming Ethereum Pectra upgrade. Buterin pointed out that the development progress of account abstraction has reached 50%. This feature aims to provide native support for non-ECDSA type accounts such as multi-signature, key replacement, quantum-resistant accounts, and privacy protocol accounts at the Ethereum protocol layer. Currently, work is underway to simplify the EIP-7701 proposal.
