The EU agreed to impose the 17th round of sanctions on Russia

The EU has threatened that if Russia does not agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine, it will impose further penalties on Russia. This is the 17th round of sanctions the EU has implemented against Russia since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2022.
