Ethereum Foundation ( officially announced an organizational restructuring on April 28, establishing a management system of "dual executive directors" and "presidential coordination," while also publicly disclosing the composition of the board of directors and the division of duties among the management team. Vitalik Buterin, one of the co-founders, although not holding an executive position, remains as a technical leader.

The newly appointed co-executive directors lead, emphasizing the importance of both strategy and execution.

EF indicates that the two newly appointed "Co-Executive Directors" ) will lead strategic planning and daily operations, and work closely with other members of the management team.

Hsiao-Wei Wang (: Serving simultaneously as a director and executive director, responsible for organizational communication and internal/external bridging, with a research background and deep historical understanding.

Tomasz K. Stańczak: From Nethermind, with venture capital experience, will assist in driving the strategic adjustment and technological evolution of the EF as co-CEO in the next 2 years.

EF believes that this "complementary dual leadership structure" can provide more flexible decision-making and execution capabilities in the current rapid evolution of the ecosystem.

The management team has clear task division, emphasizing communication and strategy implementation.

In addition to the two co-executive directors, EF also announced the responsibilities of other core management members:

Bastian Aue: Focus on organizational strategy, personnel recruitment, and internal training

Josh Stark: Responsible for project execution, marketing communication, and internal and external communication.

EF stated that in the future, these management members will regularly share plans and progress with the community to enhance openness and transparency.

The EF board structure resembles a "Safety Council," controlling the general direction and value oversight.

EF describes the board of directors as a "Security Council," whose main task is to safeguard the organization's vision and values, ensure that high-level decisions are consistent with the principles of Ethereum, and be responsible for the appointment and dismissal of executive directors. The current members of the board of directors are as follows:

Vitalik Buterin: Continuously providing technical and ideological direction advice.

Aya Miyaguchi: Leading external relations and setting the foundation's vision in collaboration with the board.

Patrick Storchenegger: The legal advisor of the foundation in Switzerland, responsible for compliance matters.

Hsiao-Wei Wang: Serving as both a director and an executive director, responsible for coordinating communication between the board of directors and management.

EF mentioned that in the future, it will further strengthen the functions of the board of directors to more comprehensively support the mission of the foundation.

Tomasz's term is temporarily set for two years, responsible for promoting the critical transformation period.

In particular, Tomasz is expected to serve a "two-year term" as co-CEO, leveraging his community and technology experience to help drive significant growth opportunities for the years ahead.

He will still retain some external roles in the future, such as his positions and investment projects related to Nethermind, but the foundation emphasizes that this arrangement has reached a consensus and does not affect his leadership responsibilities at EF.
