FIFA Collect announced the migration to its own developed Blockchain, and the Algorand Wallet will be discontinued starting May 20.
Wu learned that FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) announced that its digital collectibles platform FIFA Collect will migrate from the Algorand chain to its self-developed EVM-compatible Blockchain, aiming to enhance performance and scalability. The platform will stop supporting Algorand Wallets (such as Pera, Defly) starting from May 20, 2025, and users need to complete the import operation of their collectibles before this date.
