#加密项目空投活动# Looking back at the past, I really have mixed feelings. Over the years, I have witnessed too many projects rise and fall. Recently, seeing the Airdrop activities of the two AI projects, PublicAI and Cherry AI, on the Binance Alpha platform, reminds me of the grand Airdrop events from those past years.
Since the start of the EOS Airdrop in 2017, to the Uniswap UNI Airdrop in 2020, and now with these AI projects, the airdrop strategy has become increasingly sophisticated. I remember when participating in the EOS airdrop, you only needed to hold Ethereum to qualify, which had a very low threshold. But now? PublicAI's first phase requires 240 Alpha points, and Cherry AI requires even 224 points to participate.
This high threshold setting actually reflects the project's precise user screening strategy. They are no longer satisfied with simple net-casting Airdrops, but hope to attract truly active users and potential long-term supporters. To some extent, this is also a sign of the industry's gradual maturity.
However, we must also be wary of the negative impacts that overly high thresholds might bring. It could exclude some potential new users who have limited resources, thereby affecting the long-term development of the project. After all, today's small fish may be tomorrow's big whale.
Reflecting on the rise and fall of projects over the years, I have come to deeply understand that successful projects often find a balance between user selection and community inclusiveness. Future Airdrop events may need to consider establishing multi-tiered participation mechanisms, incorporating both high-threshold precision distribution and reserving some opportunities for newcomers.
This industry is constantly evolving, and what we need to do is learn amidst the changes and grow from our experiences. I hope every participant can find their place in this field filled with opportunities and challenges.
