CFTC candidate actively engages with the encryption industry, supporters prepare a joint letter.

On August 20, according to reports from crypto journalists, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) nominee Brian Quintenz has recently reached out to meet with people in the encryption industry after his nomination was put on hold for three weeks. Since the Senate Judiciary Committee suspended his confirmation hearing three weeks ago, the White House has not made any comments.

At the same time, several industry organizations are preparing a joint letter, which will be submitted to President Trump as soon as tomorrow, expressing support for his nomination.
