Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, expects the price of Bitcoin to reach between 180,000 and 200,000 Dollar by the end of 2025, describing this price as a "cautious price target" during the Wyoming Blockchain Summit. His predictions come amid a nearly 6% decline in Bitcoin this week.
Scaramucci refers to supply and demand dynamics as a key driver, noting that "the demand for Bitcoin far exceeds its supply," with only 450 new coins being mined daily. He emphasized the growing "consolidation and institutional adoption" over the past year following the launch of companies like BlackRock for exchange-traded funds.
The former communications director at the White House noted a shift in the number of participants in conferences from mostly individual investors three years ago to "much larger numbers of institutional investors" today. It is expected that a large portion of this institutional flow will head towards (ETFs) instead of corporate treasury strategies, such as debt-funded Bitcoin purchases from MicroStrategy.
Scaramucci claims that JP Morgan will likely buy Bitcoin through BlackRock's IBIT ETF, describing it as "the closest connection to Bitcoin" and "a very secure asset that people trust." His prediction aligns with VanEck's similar target of 180,000 Dollar by the end of the year, which the company issued earlier this week, showing growing institutional confidence despite recent price volatility.
