He stated that the ultimate goal is to make non-ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) accounts true first-class citizens. These accounts include functionalities such as multisignature, key changes, quantum resistance, and privacy protocols. Recent progress has been made in simplifying the 7701 standard to advance the realization of this goal.
