Jae Shin — CEO of Angola
Jae: The Angola Project envisions a future where the use of digital assets in all forms of digital media is widely incorporated into individuals’ daily lives through the power of Web 3.0 technology.
Angola aims to provide individuals with a decentralized and trustless solution that allows them to protect their digital assets, receive fair compensation, and exercise greater control over their intellectual property rights.
Jae: Angola’s Web 3.0 technology represents a major breakthrough for the digital media industry, providing a decentralized solution to address the challenges faced by creators and IP owners.
The technology tackles issues related to intellectual property, copyright protection, revenue generation and distribution, privacy, counterfeits, and inadequate incentives and rewards for content creators across all forms of media.
Jae: The “Take-to-Mint” feature provided by Angola enables creators and IP owners to safeguard their digital media assets by minting NFTs for their work or ownership using the Angola Token and receive fair compensation for their contributions.
Jae: The go-to-market strategy of the Angola Project is to establish strong collaborations with popular high-volume applications and services that focus on digital media.
The project aims to secure exclusivity rights and integrate its technology, including the Angola Wallet, into their apps and services.
By doing so, Angola can leverage the platforms’ user base and offer them a decentralized solution to the challenges they face in the digital media landscape.
This strategy will enable Angola to expand its reach and provide a seamless experience to users who can easily utilize Angola’s blockchain technology to protect their digital assets, receive fair compensation, and enjoy a more secure and trustless environment.
Jae: Angola plans to leverage its partnerships and technologies to create new NFT-related businesses, such as fostering new NFT businesses related to cultural content, creating fan-based sub_script_ion models with major entertainment companies, and creating a new NFT certification model with restaurant rating and reservation platforms.
Angola is committed to pushing the boundaries of NFT technology and exploring new applications that can benefit creators, IP owners, and consumers alike.
Jae: Our model is being proven right at this moment. If you have an iPhone or Android phone, you install Candy Camera or Candy Plus (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/candyplus-selfie-camera/id1589209843 or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeware.android.gpulumera) app and see that the Angola wallet is already integrated. We will have more features that will connect to our Marketplace platform in the future. We are not just a theory, but a reality today!
Jae: Our platform is easy to use because we integrate with the most popular apps and services that already have great solutions, like Candy Camera. We put end user experience first and let the technical things be transparent in the background.

Jae: We will have a marketplace of our own and the users will also have an option to sell elsewhere, but we will make it more convenient and feature rich for the users to use our marketplace. When you use our exclusive partner, Candy Camera, NFT minting, it is easy and intuitive. We intend to make the user experience easy and profitable. We aim to protect our users and make sure that they own their own content.
Jae: We have received a legal opinion from a large law firm as to the legality of our project. Since we are not a mainnet, an Audit cert is not necessary. We have community governance built in, so that everything is transparent.
Jae: We have great partners like Candy Camera to start our project. But we have more big names coming up! Our team is composed of enterprise executives that have a vast network in B2C products and services. I, myself, am a former Corporate Vice President of Samsung Electronics, Motorola/Google, AT&T, etc. Our team is composed of ex Boston Consulting and KPMG execs. Our advisors are past CEOs of large corporations. We have a lot of surprises in store for the year! We are looking to partner with Korean entertainment groups, so KPOP partnerships may be in the future.
